Then scoped a project for international supply chain improvement implications to be initiated by Tranzlink. Negotiated with NZFSA on a position response to EU regulators concerns with the domestic transportation of NZ meat product for export. The project involved analysis and technical understanding of the New Zealand Standard covering Traffic Signal Lanterns – AS/NZS 2144:2002. Corporate Logistics presented an assessment of the standards validity with respect to today’s advances with LED technology to the NZ Standards Committee. Overseas lanterns were assessed with respect to meeting AS/NZ Standard permitting their use within New Zealand conditions. Product trials were conducted over a 12-month period in conjunction with local authorities. Asessments made concerning degradation of lamp lumen loss and suitability for use in NZ conditions. Options were presented for local government for retrofitting LED bulbs to replace existing incandescent lamps for signal controlled intersections. Manawatu Gorge Road Closure Economic Impact comment. Analysis of Heavy Vehicle Movement (HVM) - Corporate Logistics Regional Trafic Database Economic impacts for the business community following closure of the Manawatu Gorge road were presented to Manawatu Chamber of Commerce. Predicted changes to regional HVM traffic models were calculated along with suggested new patterns of import and export container movements originating from and transversing through the Manawatu region. Re-calculation of 2012 calculations from $60k to $100k per day. Analysis reported widely in the media. CLL prepared an analysis for the business community of NZTA’s short list of options to replace the current alignment of sh 3 through the Manawatu gorge.
Daily diversion costs first published by corporate logistics in 2012 to regional stakeholders were updated to reflect additional traffic volumes and increased fleet costs.
Investigation of the four NTZA options were completed with recommendations presented as to the most beneficial option for the Manawatu region. ($100k per day). Understanding SH3 Road Closure

Corporate Logistics was engaged and provided an independent review for a private consortium following NZTA’s release of the 13 options to replace the current alignment of State Highway 3 through the Manawatu Gorge.
Considerations of geological constraints, construction estimates, logistic best practice and social considerations were made. Corporate Logistics completed an inventory review for a major NZ based farm machinery supplier. Corporate Logistics and it’s distributer combined to import New Zealand Manuka honey into the United States market. Export clearance procedures, labeling requirements, E-certs, testing requirements, exporter requirements, complying with the 2014 Food Act, and Overseas market access requirements.
A TAMA data analysis of new tractor sales, regional trends and gap analysis. Delivered consultancy services for a New Zealand importer specializing in food grade diatomaceous earth.
Product applications were researched, market investigations completed and presented to industry for its use as a supplementary feed for both pig and poultry operations.
Research indicated significant meat weight gain was probable when used as supplementary feed for the pig industry.
The use in the organic primary sector market as a registered organic pesticide was examined for treating red mite infections. Examined the optimal fleet and vehicle configurations for the collection of raw milk product (900 trucks and trailers). The initial project found the region short on aircargo capability and the concept of using the RNZAF Ohakea site was suggested.
This spawned several other projects to review this option and test intra-government agreements for co-operation.

Evaluation of seafood export business process and international supply chain structure to the EU and Asia. A significant research project to define the Value Drivers for NZ importers and recommend the supporting logistics & supply chain related strategy development parameters for CentrePort over the next decade. Facilitated a market research and brand identification project between the Museum and Te Manawa, by Massey University final year Marketing students. Evolution of NZ Land Use Changes
Corporate Logistics documented the changing patterns of New Zealand land use over a 10-year period.
Analysis of total farm numbers were seperately completed covering both North and South Island farming units for the following fields: Farm holdings numbers, total area of farm land, average farm size and mapping the evolution of New Zealand farm land in grassland, crops, grain, nursery, vegetables and fruit. Findings and supply chain recomendations were presented to the farm machinery sector for best practice concerning inventory levels. Corporate Logistics investigated the correlation between New Zealand farm size and tractor sales by HP. Analysis was completed by year & region. Tractor type analysis combined a variety of publicly available databases with results presented by year, New Zealand agricultural region, tractor engine size and brand. Corporate Logistics worked with market players concerning the redefining of what Manuka honey is. The integrity of the Manuka honey supply chain was reviewed.
As a result of the success of the CILT-UK Diploma in Logistics, worked with NZ Army on the development of a Master's in Supply Chain Management program through Massey University for both NZDF and private industry. Assisted company with new fish processing venture and sourcing capital. Logistics for all stadia seating for IWC world cup from Slovenia & Greece to the West Indies nations. Corporate Logistics Ltd was called into IWC 2007 project very late in the piece when things had gone wrong and on- time delivery of stadia seating was unlikely. Coordinating with its network in Australia, the West Indian nations of Barbados, Trinidad & Tobago, St Vincent, St Lucia, Antigua & Barbuda, Jamaica, as well as Livorno - Italy, Piraeus - Greece, Ljubljana -Slovenia, and Miami - USA. The project was completed on time and reduced the IWC planned shipping times from 100 days to between 17 and 24 days .

Logistics and ERP systems evaluation review, business process improvement, WIMS outline, various site inputs. Designed for small to medium sized manufacturers mainly in the food industry. Keeps track of raw materials from point of origin, to batch and BoM manufacturing, work in progress, and end product batches as finished goods inventory.
It tracks supplier goods through to finished products with multi-location inventory, to client sales, allowing tracking of any batch through all stages of manufacture, and all ingredients back to source. This facilitates the recall of any affected products should it ever be required.
The software is designed to keep track of supplier receipting, manufacturing, stock and basic sales. This software package will compliment existing Warehouse Management Systems and accounting packages.
Remote sales (e.g. market, fair, etc.) can be recorded live via a web interface to the back-end with sales and inventory adjusted accordingly. Any sales can be recorded against a particular client or a "Cash Sales" client.
The software can be easily adapted to any particular industry. This software is designed to keep track of bookings for multiple function venues, from taking bookings to confirmations, attendee numbers, and catering, tracking event costs relative to budgeted costs.

Investigating why work had stopped and what was required to re-engage all subcontractors with main contractor. Corporate Logistics provided Project Facilitator services to coordinate the builder, developer, and project management relationship. The scope of work covered an 18 month period, including a quantity survey (QS) review. The value of the build was $4 million. Corporate Logistics project managed the installation of LED lighting upgrades for a local government council controlled organisation (CCO) (LIDO).
The project involved investigating client requirements and options and ascertaining industry best practice.
Cost benefit analysis detailed substantial savings in power consumption for the CCO along with the provision to dramatically reduce running costs and facility down time. Project Management for the importation from Canada and positioning in Invercargill NZ of specialist flooring for the new netball courts in Stadium Southland. Engaged to investigate and report on why construction had stopped for a large multinational corporate building a multi million dollar asset in New Zealand. The client was concerned with the lack of co-ordination between the projects team of architects, engineers, main contractor and quanty surveyors. Several planning and resource consent issues were also unresolved at the time of engagement.
We were tasked with understanding why construction had been halted and deliver a solution that would re-engage all parties. Critical to the projects sucess was re-establishing communication with the projects funders to ensure the project could be sucessfully delivered within both time and financial limits. Corporate Logistics partnered with an overseas manufacturer and distributor to establish the NZ wide potential to import and successfully distribute power saving technologies into the NZ domestic market.
Projections were completed concerning the dynamics and characteristics of NZ wide standby power consumption along with technical product evaluations (DTL).
Competitor applications/devices were appraised along with the effects for the NZ market following the potential dismantling of the Australian carbon reduction programs.
